today is thursday

it's been a while since i've contributed to this blog. i have a new job, which is better than the old job, but it keeps me busier. that's better, too, i guess.

the weather is clearing up and maybe i'll have happier thoughts now.

i got my nose pierced yesterday.

the guy who did it was named scott. i did it at the alley, because it's so close to work. scott had tattoos and piercings all over the place, and those elongated lobe rings, which i call buddha lobes, because there's a buddha picture in jeff's living room and he has lobes like that, too. anyway, scott was like a doctor. he made me feel at ease and he was highly professional. you see, we shouldn't judge.

my mom was shocked to find out about it. my dad will probably be mad.

the family in minnesota will for sure freak out.

all this over a nostril.

maybe they won't. maybe they'll all shock me.

next thursday i will turn 28. 27 was better than 26, but i like the number 7. then again, i've recently been rethinking it. no lie, i've been considering 8 because of its symmetry. i love symmetry.

i'm with a cute boy, a boy a like a lot. i should say man, but boy is so much more endearing. he's under the weather tonight and it makes me sad i don't get to see him. he's the center of my darkest poetry, but it's changed and i am thinking only nice thoughts of him.
