iNCOGNiTO

I'm going to leave you
I'm going to lose your number
I'm going to walk out
In the middle of your monologue
I'm going to leave you
I'll keep your amplifier
I'll keep your drums
And all the things you left at my house
I'm going to rob you
I'll pick your pocket
I'll give you two more kisses
Sweet sweet sweet kisses
And then I'll leave you
You will not worry
You won't remember
The way this mouth tastes
The way these eyes measure
I'm going to drink our bottle of wine
I'll drink to my victory
I'll walk away smiling
At my grand achievement
Just one more kiss and I'll go
So don't call me
Don't try to find me
I'll be in hiding
Incognito

The Sea

The Sea-
He wraps me
Into its folds
And then
He leaves me
To behold

The sacrifice was made
He laid me in my grave
One more was too many
For this boat to hold

Overs

I refuse to represent here a poem or song that is not my own, but if you want to listen to my state of mind today, check out the lyrics to the song "Overs" by Simon & Garfunkel (google it), who have a penchant for reading my mind and snagging my thoughts anyway.

º . º

We are some pear
My diffidence is evinced
In my insular existence
Once irascible
I was transmuted
Into impassivity

My Mellifluous Oblations
Contradict
Your Lubricious Evasions

Rat

You're a rat for doing this to me twice
You're a selfish rat
You crawled out of my sewer to plague me
With your mind tricks
You tease me with love
Because you know how to reel me in
You know that I'll keep coming back
You taunt me until I gouge my eyes out
With bloody tears that pierce like knives
My wrists bear the scars of your games
Though I've given you my heart
You've never given me a second thought
My heart carries the burden of your love
Your stinking, selfish love
